Firm History
McCann & Matri LLC was founded in April 2023. The firm was originally established as a partnership between Edward T. McCann, Esq. and Mark T. Matri, Esq.
Edward T. McCann, Esq., co-founder of the firm, passed away in September 2023. The firm continues its practice under the name McCann & Matri LLC in accordance with applicable rules of professional conduct.
Current Practice
The firm is presently operated by Mark T. Matri, Esq., who continues to represent clients in litigation, estate matters, employment disputes, contract conflicts, and intellectual property matters in New Jersey, New York, and Florida state and federal courts.

Founder & Managing Member
Attorney Mark T. Matri brings more than a decade of courtroom experience representing clients in complex legal disputes and transactional matters. Throughout his career, he has handled a broad range of matters including estate planning and probate issues, employment disputes, business litigation, and real estate matters.
Before founding the firm, Mr. Matri practiced civil litigation at a respected New Jersey law firm where he represented clients in complex disputes across multiple state and federal jurisdictions. Earlier in his career, Mr. Matri gained extensive courtroom experience handling contested foreclosure litigation across Florida during the national foreclosure crisis.
